which languages do you have installed.

also check languages in admin menu, select each language, enter details and make sure, the language is enabled.

This appears to be a breaking change between 5.0.1 and 5.1.1.  Any custom modules that use the LabelControl.ascx are not localized in 5.1.1.  If the user control in the custom module didn't hard-code a default text property for the label in the ascx it shows up as just the question icon, the tool-tip doesn't work when hovering, and clicking on the question icon shows an empty box.  I have confirmed that this worked fine in 5.0.1 but breaks in 5.1.1.  Note that both test instances were clean installs with default English settings and not upgrades.

Regards,

Scott

I am seeing this on another install, where any call to Localization.GetString("valFieldRequired", Me.LocalResourceFile) is returning nothing.

The labels are broken as well.

The languages installed are EN and DA. The site was upgraded from 5.0.1.

Seeing the exact same thing with my custom modules I'm building for a client using 5.1.1 - will have to develop this site using 5.0.1 and cross my fingers that 5.1.2 fixes this critical issue since my modules rely heavily on localization... unless there is another way to access the localization files in my modules...

This was a clean install of 5.1.1 on localhost using the default language - it was not an upgrade.
