I would still like to know why does the selected language displays as a flag instead of just text as the other language links?

Again problem even with the http://mllanguageselector.codeplex.com.
Can't get the 'DisplayType' property to display 'TwoLetterISOCode' setting correctly.
It returns the full language name.
This is how I call the control:
< dnn:DNN:MLLANGUAGE id="dnnLANGUAGE" tableLess="True" Flags="False" Hyperlinks="True" OnlyLanguageCode="True" DisplayType="ResourceName" runat="server" >

Any ideas?

please see here for documentation of attributes:
http://mllanguageselector.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Attributes&referringTitle=Documentation

You should set "DisplayType = TwoLetterISOCode"
