I am using the Telerik htmleditor (5.6.3 in DNN 6.0.1) and am trying to translate the menues to swedish. I have created the resource files radeditor.dialogs.sv-SE.portal-0.resx in Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Telerik\App_LocalResources. My default language is swedish. However the menues in the telerik htmleditor is still presented in english. Also the spellcheck works only in english.

What shall I do to get telerik working in swedish?

I have the idential problems if I try to use the RadEditor (6.0.1) instead.

Editor toolbars and spellchecking use a different localization method than DNN, please check at www.telerik.com for details. Regading File Browser and select popups for images, media, links it depends whether you are creating a customizing of an existing language pack or create a new translation - in the second case, please remove portal-0 from the names of your resource files.

Hi Rune!

I have now found the solution to the problem with language settings that you (and I) had with the editor.

With DotNetNuke 6, we have a new panel for the settings of the editor. It can be found under Host>> HTMLEditor Manager. Here you can select the language for both the editor and spell check. If you also have the right spelling file for your local language, this will work. In your case, en-SE.td.

To get a detailed description on how to resolve this read on this forum where I explain it step by step and in Swedish

Note that the RadEditor that DNN uses is a spin-off of Telrik RadEditor and no help or support DNN users. Settings for Telrik RadEditor is a hint, but usually not the solution for DNN users that got stuck
