Hi - I would like to have a site support multiple languages and have a few questions.

  1.  Does the site auto detect browser language and display correct language if it is set up in DNN? Or does the user have to click the Flag?
  2. Does Google search the site in each language?
  3. Do I have to install the Language pack to have a Flag show up?
  4. Is it a different portal, or same portal with HTML module for each language?

I basically want the site to show up for each language automatically and be searchable by language.

 Thanks,

 JAy

1. yes, this should work again in DNN 6.2.4 and up
2. if you provide proper links or sitemap
3. installing the language pack shows up the flag and translates all static texts. if you just need to display flag (e.g. for Great Britain), you may simply add and enable the language in Admin Languages.
4. this is up to you and an option. You may also use either DNN built in language specific pages or else 3rd party page localization and multilingual modules.
