 Hi friends,

I am developing a site by using DNN. imy criteria is i need to display content in Deutsch and the langusges which i want to display thelanguage menu on top of every page.

for that i find

 <dnn:LANGUAGE runat="server" id="dnnLANGUAGE"  showMenu="False" showLinks="True" />

in skins.

here i changed showMenu="False"  to "True" .

but still i am not getting that languages menu in my pages.


Anybody please help me on this.It is very urgent.

Hello Agiline,

Maybe you should try also:

a) check for a file named "skin.xml" and make the same changes inside of it.

b) be sure that at least 2 available language packs are enabled for the portal, from the Host and Admin language menus.

Here you have an old post that may be of help for you with item a (original in Spanish, use the Google Translate gadget on the right).

You need to install the German language pack for localizing static elements and use page localization for the menu as well as multiplanguage modules for the content.

There are about 750 German Language Packs available on the Website of the German DotNetNuke Usergroup, free registration required.
