i have my culture set to uk but all dates are displayed in us format and also any modules require the dates to be entered in us format.

how can i have dnn show dates in the format of the current selected culture?

> i have my culture set to uk

I'm not sure how you did that, setting the culture in web.config has no effect, you have to install an en-UK language pack (i think that is available, otherwise its easy to create one). The only way to set a culture in dnn is to change the language of the page, which can be done at the user level, or at portal level. For unauthenticated users this is done automatically by dnn based on browsers settings

cheers,

erik

apologies for not being specific.

i have the UK language pack installed. The default language for the portal is en-gb and the user selected language is en-gb.

with that, i'm still required to input dates in US format, i.e. MM/dd/yyyy rather than en-gb dd/MM/yyyy.

in my module code DateTime.Parse("25/06/2006") will fail, error states that the string is not in correct format, which is true because its trying to parse with according to US format.

well it seems as though my local version which is the same as my remote version is showing and requiring dates in en-us format. However, this is only happening with dnn as other web applications are displaying dates appropriately [i.e. i haven't changed or set the language/culture and it is displaying correctly].
