Hello,
I spent a lot of time to get automatic logon working through the latest AD Provider 1.00.04 DNN 4.9.0.
I am using Windows Server 2008 with IIS 7.

I want to achieve automatic login. I've read that it should be possible, if I logon via the following URL:

I tried everything according the Documentation. (all combinations of Impersonations/ Windows Authentications/ NativeMode /ClassicMode) but had no success. Is there anybody out there who has this configuration working and who could send me the web.config.

Accordung the docs the IIS should run in classic mode, but if I switch it to that mode, I get an Error Page, that IIS should be switched to FUll TRust or Classic Mode. Very strange that this message disapears, if I switch back to NativePipeline...

Anybody out there who has some thoughts on this?

THanks a lot!

Alex

With the web.config file unmodified, it should still work by using the WindowsSignIn.aspx method.

Make sure that:

1. You have the AD provider installed.

2. AD authentication is enabled in the Admin->Authentication menu, and that you get a green icon when you enter the information (shows it successfully contacted your domain).
