Error: Windows Authentication is currently unavailable.

I am running dnn 4.5.3 and windows auth is running fine. but when i log in as host or admin, i try to access the "authentication" link under admin - and i am getting the error above. anyone got any ideas?

Do you get any more detail if you look in the EventViewer?

This is what i found in the event viewer:

AuthenticationSettings.ascx.vb(44): error BC30456: 'ResetConfig' is not a member of 'Configuration'.

Again, in the main portal it authenticates fine. although i cant go back in the admin > authentication page because of  "Error: Windows Authentication is currently unavailable.".

Anyone have any ideas?

Did you make any changes to your DNN install for AD (IE: Install the DNN AD Fix)? Have you tried Restarting the application under Host->Host Settings?
