Hi there,

I have just upgraded a clients portal from version 3.1.1 of DNN to 4.05.01.  We used to use Tams AD module with the old installation, but now use the built in one, with a couple of issues, one is that the AD groups from newly created users now do not auto-populate and the email address does not get populated.

Our Domain structure is slightly complex.  The DNN installation run in domain A, with users from domains B and C logging.  There is a trust set up between domains A and B and A and C.

This all works fine, apart from the issue with the email address and groups, does anyone have any ideas how I could sort the problem.

Thanks

David

I've run into the same problem with my test AD network at home just recently (it worked fine until September/October). At this point the only thing I can deduce is that a MS patch on the server has stopped the provider from getting all of the possible fields from the AD. There's over 100 properties normally but the return set is now only returning about 25 of them. I'm going to be looking at rewriting the code I inherited from Tam to get it more in line with procedures introduced for .NET 2.0.
