Hai,

I need to change the splash screen message (right after the new member registration)

the message is now saying:
An email receipt has been sent to your e-mail address: XXXXX@XXXX.com
Our FactoryCodes.com administrator will review your new FactoryCodes.com membership. You will be notified upon the review within 24 hours. Thank you for your interest in joining FactoryCodes.com.

I want to change this message to some thing else... how can i achieve that ? Please help ?

You'll probably want to use the Admin's Language Editor to change this.

It appears that you have a customized message, so look for it under Local Resources, Admin, Security, App_LocalResources, Register.ascx.

Don't forget to make a backup copy of the .resx file that goes with this in case you have to recreate it after upgrading the site.

Hi

OK, Thanks for the Info ..

But i couldnt find the file  Register.ascx under Local Resources, Admin, Security, App_LocalResources .. I think it is missing... Actually i also need to edit the Register.ascx file ... Since it is missing i cant do anything ..

Can you please help me out of this ?

So when you go to Admin->Languages and click on Language Editor you don't see the same message under Resource Name: EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PRIVATE_BODY.Text in the GlobalResources.resx file?

The registration information is under ManageUsers.ascx. It's a multi-paneled page.

I got the answer.This is the place we have to change the Registration Splash Screen Message...

Admin > Languages > Language Editor > SharedResources > Resource Name: VerifiedConfirmationMessage.Text
