Sorry margeir... I did setup a virtual 2008 server last week to do some testing on but got a different error (it had problems talking to the server SQL is running on) and I've been putting in a ton of overtime the last couple of weeks and haven't had a chance to look at it again. I'll try to remember to take a look at it this evening depending on what time I finally get home.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your promt reply.
For your information i want to include some specs and setup info on my installation.

My site is running on a Windows Server 2008 (Windows Vista), service pack 1.
IIS 7.0 - running under Full Trust and Classic .NET mode.

And this is the error i get:
[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.]
   DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.AuthenticationController..ctor() +52
   DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.WindowsSignin.Page_Init(Object sender, EventArgs e) +67
   System.Web.UI.Control.OnInit(EventArgs e) +99
   System.Web.UI.Page.OnInit(EventArgs e) +9
   System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) +321
   System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) +834

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Margeir

Margeir...can you post what you did to get it to work?

Is that error happening with any module or just the AD Provider?
