Brian, what sever OS are you running? Have you tried using impersonation as per the documentation (the link is in one of the other posts on the thread)? It looks like you're running DNN 5.0.0... is this correct? Is this a production site or just a test site?

I am using win 2008 with SQL 2008. I have it now that it is popping up a login box when I hit the site. Yes for right now it is a test site. I did try the impersonate loine in web.config but I cannot add a username or password. The user and password is the same as other network logins and we don't want people to be looking into that file to see it. And yes, it is 5.0

I have tried everything to not popup the box and auto login but no luck. I still have the error I showed above.

Thanks

Don't forget the part where that website has to be either a trusted or local intranet site (on the client end) for IE to auto-authenticate...

yes, I have added it to my local intranet and I cannot add it to trusted sites as it is not SSL. Still get  popup. I have followed the document pretty close and still no luck. That error may not be anything but still shouldn't be there. if I use the WindowsSignin.aspx it gives me the popup as well. I don't mean to hijack this thread but the OP got the same error and they said they got it to work, so I was curious as to what they did.
