When i create a role and set the auto assignment property to be true, it takes a long time to reflect the save made. It definitely saves to the database quickly, but the front end takes forever to display the message that the role is added. Is it trying to add that role to all the users in the database (to the userroles table)? I am using version 4.3.5. Any help would be appreciated.

I just noticed that DNN checks for the autoassign propery (for a role) and if it is true, it loops through all the users and assigns that role to that user. That is why it took such long time to refresh the screen

I've never attempted to setup a role as auto-assign after a number of users had already been registered but I could see that as a reason it took so long to refresh. Was it a one time thing or is it still happening?
