If you install the source version of the AD provider all of the source files are extracted from the .resources file. You can then open up the solution in Visual Studio and make the changes you need to make.

You may have to re-reference the dlls. Click on "Show All Files" in the solution explorer and then expand the References folder. If any have an exclamation mark on them then they need to be re-referenced. Right-click on the project in Solution Explorer and go to Properties. Under the references tab you can re-add the references.

Mike,

I tried to install the source code using the ActiveDirectory_01.00.04_source.zip file into a DNN 4.9.0 starter kit project using VS2008.

First, I logged in as host in DNN and then from Host Settings, installed new authentication provider using the above file. The module was successfully installed but when I looked at the project inside VS2008, it looks like the source files were created using the VS2005 web application project model while the DNN 4.9.0 starter kit uses the web site project model.

My question is do you have the source available that can be incorporated inside a DNN 4.9.0 starter kit instance using VS2008?

Thanks, Joey
