Hi, i'm getting the error below when accessing the windowssignin.aspx page directly, although i can successfully login via the login page using windows login. Have tried with impersonation on but that didn't affect it. Using AD 1.0.4.62303

When you setup impersonation did you do it as explained in the documentation? Do you have any firewall software running that might be blocking the passing of your user credentials (ie. ZoneAlarm, Norton Internet Security, etc)? What browser are you using?

Hi, yes i used the example from the AD Docs to setup impersonation and set permissions, etc, for this user. Have tried it with IE6 and IE7 and there is no firewall software on the machines themselves. Like i say, i can login with the Windows login form but the above page keeps erroring.

If you remove the page from the Trusted or Intranet sites list and try to hit WindowsSignin.aspx do you get the pop up asking you to enter your credentials? Or if you have FireFox it should give you the pop-up as well even if the site is in the Trusted sites list.

Hi, yes i tried it from another machine and the popup appeared, i logged in using a known login and it then showed the same error message.
