Hi,

At IE I am unable to login. When I click to the login link nothing happens. When I use http://myAddress/Default.aspx?ctl=login the login page open. But even if I put my admin user and password correctly or wrong and click in login button nothing happens, only a refresh.

I did a test at Firefox and works fine.

What is happening? What is wrong? What I need to do?

Note: At the company the default and allowed browser is IE 7. Only developers has the permission to use another browsers.

thanks

Can you try the following.

  1. Try to login with IE
  2. Check that there are no Javascript type errors (usually an icon appears at the bottom left of the browser window).
  3. Login with Firefox
  4. Check the DNN EventViewer to see if there's any indication of what the error was when you tried to login with IE.

Also,  are you using a custom skin?  If you are, switch the site to a DotNetNuke skin and see if that "cures" the problem.  If it does, then the skin is the source of the problem.

Thanks for the tips.

Now I know about Event Viewer.

And I don't know how or why but today is working login at IE. And I've been trying to login a week ago.

Thanks a lot.

I think that the problem was related with one module.

Follow the EventViewer exception:
