Hi Mike.  I'm running v 4.09.03 and am having some performance issues when creating users.  It takes about 10-20 seconds to create an account... I only have a few portals and about 200 users tops.  The server resources are fine and DNN performance settings are:

Page State: Page
Module Caching: Memory
Performance Setting: Moderate Caching
Authenticated Cacheability: No Cache (honestly not sure what this is)
Compression: No Compression
User Whitespace Filter: False

Do you or anyone have any ideas that I could try to fix this performance?  Everything else about the sites are running great- just user registration.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

Have you looked into the effect of Role Synchronisation on registering/ login as this can have quite a hit on performance. Try unchecking the sync option on the Authentication page and seeing what effect it has.

Cheers

Ian
