Hi all,

I installed AD Provider to allow users on my intranet to log on with there Windows credentials. I configured it correctly and it found my domain without problem.

I didn't check "synchronize roles" for the moment as i want to have more info about this.

In our AD, we have a lot of Organizational Units (OU), which represent all offices of my firm in the world (1 OU = 1 country)
As our intranet in France is currently only for french office users, I would to know if I can synchronize the OU of the french office.

Maybe in the configuration of AD Provider could I type somethink like that : Root Domain : OU=France,DC=mydomain,DC=com ? (like when I made LDAP requests)
If I type something like, will DNN only search in the OU=France or will he search in the whole domain ?

Thank you for help !

Jocelyn

It will search the whole domain I believe but I honestly have never tried setting it up like you're proposing. I don't have the code handy at the moment but if you've got a dev system I'd try it and see what happens.
