I am trying to understand the difference between the two.  How and when does Last ActivityDate get update if you remember login?

Chris

You can be logged in for a long time without logout - day, week or ever month. Last Activity Date will be different from Last Login. Does it make sense?

last activity date is updated whenever you browse to a page, last login whenever you enter your login credentials.

Thanks for getting back to me guys. That is what i thought but wondering is anything special that happens before the Last Activity Date is logged or need to be on a certain version of DNN? I have seen some changes on the date but trying to understand what is the trigger or the delay on the logging. We have close to 50,000 users and the major of them have not used the system in over two years so looking to do a purge because we need to tie active users to another system and don't need the extra overhead of non users. Thanks Chris

what do you mean by "anything special that happens before the Last Activity Date is logged"? AFAIK it is updated on any page call of a logged in user.
