Hi

I have two DNN instances that are set up with AD. They both were fine independently.

However, when I log into one and then browse to the other I get this error:

Unable to validate data.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: Unable to validate data.

I am using AD 5.00.2. And DNN 5.6.5.

Can anyone help?

thanks

Gus

ps: have a horrible feeling I will have to upgrade dnn for the fixes in AD.

My initial thought was that it was a cookie collision as I vaguely remember reading about that being a problem with multiple DotNetNuke installs in the past (not specifically related the the AD provider). Unfortunately I can't seem to find any info at the moment.

Hi Mike and thanks for responding.

I don't suppose you recall any kind of solution?

I see now that the AD provider latest versions are only compatible with DNN 6 plus. So I am guessing there's no chance of new versions for DNN 5 any more?

I will test the same scenario with DNN7 and the latest AD.

Gus

I don't recall what the solution was but I think you can change how the cookie is written in the web.config.
