I am in the process of setting up a intranet on DNN 7. I've had the hardest time finding information on setting up authentication of our domain users with active directory.

Where can I find the process to set this up? I found one site that said go to Admin > Active Directory, but I have no such option.

Please help!

You need to install latest version of AD provider (to be found on codeplex) and configure it in Admin > Extensions.

Thanks. I only found this one: http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com/

Dated over a year ago(March 14, 2013). Would that be the correct one?

I did discover that it is the correct one(says support@dnnsoftware.com).  However the installation documentation has different settings than this one. See here: http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com/documentation

As you can see here: http://i57.tinypic.com/1h74h4.png

I must have a different issue.  I haven't ever set this up before so the accuracy of the instructions are important. Are you (or anyone here) aware of a location of some updated instructions?

Many thanks.

EDIT: Seems there are more options... maybe I can figure this out... still... outdated documentation - annoyed. :)

The documentation isn't out of date, you're in the wrong spot. That image you posted is from under Host->Extensions->Modules->Authentication. The documentation tells you to go to Admin->Extensions-.Authentication Systems and click the pencil beside DNN_ActiveDirectoryAuthentication.
