Hi,
I configured the Google Authentication extension  (Created an app in Google with the required URLs and copied the ClientID and secret to the DNN configuration)
Everything seems to be working fine. When I click the google button on the login screen, I go to Google to allow access and get redirected to my web site and now I'm logged in. Fine. The only strange thing is that my custom modules are using the DNN UserID to figure out what to show on the screen. I was already registered and have an existing DNN userId. After the OAuth dance I am authenticated by my app can't find anything for this user. So either DNN created a new user with a new UserID or did something else.... Is there a way to get the DNN UserID after OAuth authentication? (I'm still on DNN 7.4.0). Thanks!

For anyone new to OAuth (like me...), I figured out that DNN indeed creates a new user when you authenticate via Google. For instance, if you register with your example@gmail.com account, DNN creates a new user with Google-example@gmail.com as user name and example@gmail.com as email address.

This user is completely different from a user already registered on the same site through DNN registration with example@gmail.com as username and email address. (which now makes sense but was not what I was expecting).

So adding the Google button on my login page will be confusing for my users since they think they can now easily login via Google... but won't see any of their data after they login.
