Quite often, the login process is hanging.  Using Chrome, I get this:

in Edge I get this

I can navigate to the home page and it shows my name

But as soon as I try to get to restricted content, then I am asked to log in again and it goes through properly.

I am running community version 8.0.3.

Any ideas?

Thanks!  I will check that but I think I found the reason.  The hosting company provided an alternate domain name for use while doing development.  I didn't use that since I developed the site locally, but it was still available and the pages were wandering between the two domain names when using relative paths, so the log in was truly dropping if the user was taken away from the domain on which the login took place.   This has been resolved.
