I have DNN 4.3.5 installed for an Intranet Site in one of my Forests.  Works great with auto login in the same forest. Problem is when I access the site from another forest (different domain) it asks for username and passsword.  My users want to kill me because this is very annoying, how can I get them in the site without it asking for the login credentials.  they are all just basic users, the admins are in the same forest as the intranet site so this part of it is not a concern.

I either need to get DNN to accept credentials from another forest/Domain

or make a generic login and get IE on those users computers to send the generic login instead of their domain login.

or get a sledge hammer and smash it

Any Suggestions????

I haven't tried it myself, but in the authentication menu there is an option to use the root of the forest if you leave it blank.
