Hi, I'm just wondering when will be the next release of Gallery module? For I've realized there's too many trouble with it in the mean time.

By the way, I noticed that the video players of the Gallery module don't work in FireFox. How do I manually fix this?

Best regards,
Duc

I too am very curious about the next release, and when it can be expected to surface?

I'm using DNN 3.3.7 on ASPNET 1.1 for a few clients, and I still can't get those stars to go away! (I've tried "everything")

Can anyone point me to the .dll's that work to remove the stars (voting) for my situation?
(For the gallery I'm trying to build, I'm trying to remove all styling and use a white 3x3 setup with only the image title, and also remove the instance of the menu/title at the top of each gallery page, but I can't remove that either!)

So, any news on a new release will keep me on board with this module, but if it's not going to be any time soon then I'll have to re-think everything and shell out some bucks for a better gallery ... that would be a disappointment, as I've always thought this included core gallery has had so much potential, but those stars always displaying has kept me from using DNN more than a few times for more than a few clients ...

My wishlist (in order) for the next release:
1. ability to remove voting & stars*.gif row
2. proper style/class attributes assigned to each element (so those stars/name/description could all be hidden by the secondary trick of .css "display: none;" in customized styles/themes)
3. ability to remove the top menu/title of the gallery when to rights are assigned to a public role.
4. ability to remove 100% of spacing & text on a tight gallery layout for smaller screens (800x600 with 5-column images, no titles, no spaces between pics, no extra info)

I eagerly await the next release!!

Regards,

WhoKnowsDTS

You wanna know my solution to the stars that won't go away???  Replace the GIF with one with the same name only blank and fully transparent.

You can see it (or not) here:  http://collegeparkjudo.org/PhotoGallery/tabid/54/path/ShufuOpen2007/Default.aspx
