I have my main album, I created a new album within it.  I viewed that subalbum but could not find a way to go back to the main album.

I might not have the latest version installed though.. can anyone verify.  Thanks.

The navigation for this type of functionality is using the modules Solpart menu. (not to be confused with the solpart actions menu)

When in a subalbum... I dont have a menu .. unless I am logged in as admin .. and even then the menu has nothing to go back to the main album.

When in the main album ..  there is a listing of subalbums to go to ...

This is still possible.  You were correct, solpart doesn't handle the hierarchy of albums.

But.., the top line next to the view selector you will see:

Gallery Name   Album Name   Sub Album

those are you navigation links up the chain.

(like breadcrumbs in this forum)
