Tonight I have completed work on and uploaded both install and source packages for a Gallery 04.03.03 Release Candidate to the project's downloads page on CodePlex: http://dnngallery.codeplex.com/releas.... Although this release is primarily a bug fix for showstopper issues which arose with the introduction of ASP.Net 4.0 and DotNetNuke 5.05.xx, it includes fixes for a number of annoying issues and a few enhancements that were suggested during testing of prior beta releases 04.03.01 and 04.03.02. Full details of the included fixes and enhancements are available in the separate download of the 04.03.03 Release Notes file (also included in each package).

Unless someone spots a showstopper issue in v 04.03.03 RC, I plan to submit this same version to the DotNetNuke release tracker testing process by Tuesday morning. Note that while this is a Release Candidate and not an official DotNetNuke extension release at this time, I do consider it to be stable.

Most likely, this will be the last release in the Gallery 4.x series as the project team hopes to focus its attention on Gallery 5x which will be built from the ground up to use the latest web technology and best practices.

I did not have time tonight to update the project's source repository with the latest code but will do so tomorrow.

Many thanks for this.
Have just tested it, this release has stopped the errors that were happening.
I'll give it a further test on my local machine, just to abuse it some more, on first usage it seems to be very stable
Any idea when the final release will happen
?

Many thanks
Pat

I have just installed it on 5.6.0 and used it a bit with multiple galleries, everything seems to be working perfect so far. I will post if I encounter any problems. Thanks for this release, let's hope it gets officialy released soon...

Gallery 4.03.03 RC has passed testing (see Release Tracker at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/E...) but is awaiting DotNetNuke Corp and Health Team's updating of the release page on CodePlex and other links to the new release. It appears, however, that a decision was made to not include Gallery 4.03.03 as an available module in future DotNetNuke framework packages. All the more reason for me and the Gallery module project team to concentrate on MediaGallery 5 which will be a complete re-design of the module built from the ground up to take advantage of current technologies.
