When using a forum and attempting to insert an image from the Gallery I get the message "There are no images: Portals/9" I assume that this is a simple configuration mistake that I have overlooked but I'll be damned if I can find it.
On the root portal it shows the images that are in the root of the web but in any other portal (in this case Portal/9) it shows nothing and does not allow navigation to other folders.

I have used the File Manager utility and given Read permission to All Users throughout the directory structure for the Galleries but still no luck.

Any hints, ideas, clues about where to turn to next?

ver 4.3.1 (to 8 July 2006) ver 4.3.2 (to 20 July 2006) ver 4.3.3 (to 5 Aug 2006) ver 4.3.4 (to 20 Sep 2006) ver 4.3.5 (to 25 Dec 2006) ver 4.4.0 (to date)

You didn't mention what versions you are running but I have noticed that there is something definatly funny going on with the File manager.  One of the core team guys has posted about it in his blog awhile back.

That could be causing your problems.

My apologies. I am running DNN 4.3.1 and whatever version of the Galleries and Forums installed with that version which I believe are 3.00.12 and 3.20.06 respectively. I'll do a search for the blog that you mentioned.

Out of interest, how can I tell which version of a module is installed from the site itself. For example, how can I tell which version of Forums I am using here on DotNetNuke?

ver 4.3.1 (to 8 July 2006) ver 4.3.2 (to 20 July 2006) ver 4.3.3 (to 5 Aug 2006) ver 4.3.4 (to 20 Sep 2006) ver 4.3.5 (to 25 Dec 2006) ver 4.4.0 (to date)

You can't really tell what version of a module a site is running.  At least I don't know of a way.  This site generally runs the latest and greatest versions of everything though, so if it's available for download then they are most likely running it here.

Pretty much the only way you can tell the versions is be logging in as host and looking at the module definations.

I'm guessing that it is also a security risk to expose the versions because if a vulnerability is found in a certain version then hackers could search out and exploit those versions.

I was under the impression that the 3.3.x series of core modules were being run here on DotNetNuke, not the 4.3.x series...?

ver 4.3.1 (to 8 July 2006) ver 4.3.2 (to 20 July 2006) ver 4.3.3 (to 5 Aug 2006) ver 4.3.4 (to 20 Sep 2006) ver 4.3.5 (to 25 Dec 2006) ver 4.4.0 (to date)
