I'm able to upload like 10 pictures or so into an album, and then all the sudden any subsequent image uploads to that gallery don't show up.  The upload goes through fine, but when the page refreshes, the new image is not there.

If I create a new album, I can then upload to it ok for a fe wimages (no more than 10, sometimes as few as 1), then I start to have the same problem.

Any ideas?

What version of everything are you using?

I'm using the latest release version of the Gallery 03.01.12 and DNN 3.3.1 and just noticed the same problem.  I know there is some strangness with the changes to the core file management in 3.3.1 and 4.3.1.  I just upgraded DNN to 3.3.2 but haven't had a chance to see if that was fixed.

So anyway I think the problems is more in the core and not with the Gallery but I haven't really beat up on it enough to see where the problem is yet.

Once I can get a good handle on the issue I'll enter it in Gemini.  From what I could see doing just a really quick look at things yesterday (between meetings) it doesn't look like the root cause is in the Gallery.

Using the latest Gallery and 4.3.2.  Just upgraded from 4.3.1 hoping it might resolve this issue but it hasn't.

I agree, it's most likely a core issue, as many people have experienced this issue with uploading new modules/skins/etc.  I hope it gets fixed soon.

In the meantime, is there anyway to manually add files to the gallery (FTP)?

Thanks!

I've been playing around with this more over the weekend and noticed the same thing.  4.3.2 and 3.3.2 uploads are still a problem.

I also noticed that there seems to be a problem I've heard about here in the forum but never could reproduce on my systems.  If you upload a zip file instead of a photo file, the zip will be decompressed and all the files added.

With previous versions I was able to upload around 40-50 photos at a time like that.  Now, no matter how many photos are in the zip only about ten are added to the Galleryand the rest of the files are corrupted 0 byte files.  After that It's not possible to upload any other photos.

I still don't think it's a Gallery issue. To me it seems to be more a core file management problem and something with the zlib compression dll.

I'm still having this problem.. has anyone discovered a resolution?

Even if it's a workaround, I'd love to be able to proceed.
