I have mmfpaintball.com on GoDaddy. It's using DNN 4.8.1 and Blog module 3.4. I've got the Blog properties set to allow posts from users. It's not a public blog. I have users defined. When a user logs in to the website, the blog module still says

You must be logged in and have permission to create or edit a blog.

What am I missing?! Thanks!

Hi Azanna,

In order to allow a list of authorized users to create their own blog and start posting you need to grant them edit permissions to the "menu" control of the module. To easily identify this control, note that it is the one where you see the red sentence you reported here. Another control you need to grant edit permissions to the list of authorized users is the main view, where the entries are shown. Note that all the other controls of the module do not need edit permissions granted to others than  the administrators.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
