I have been using the BLOG module for some imt now www.UncleShooter.com.  and Had quite a few entries in it.  I never entered a (Summary) but I did enter the full article in the (Blog) and the Blog entries came out fine.

Then I did a post some some tags that were nor formed correctly and my whole blog went away.  I was able to get it back again but now I have to enter a (Description) actually the (Summary) or the Blog entry won't save.  My old entries will not save no unless I put a (Desciption) in.  I checked the module setting and can't find anything obvious to tell the module to use the (Blog) entry for the (Summary)

I think I am missing some thing simple any suggestions are appreciated.

There's a blog setting under Module Options called Make Entry Summary Mandatory, or something to that effect.  I wonder if this is checked for your blog?

Thank you very much that was the ticket....  The prompt was a little misleading but now the blog's work like they used to.

Hi Shooter,

you're right. And believe me: during the development of the next version the team fight for entire weeks about prompts and help tips in the module. After many releases those texts become misleading and incoherent, but I think that the next version will be much more handy and less clumsy.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Ok, I give up. Where is this setting at in Blog 3.5.1? I can't find it anywhere and summaries just aren't getting it for my blog, I want full posts displayed. Ideally the most recent x posts.
