Hi Guys:

I install the module blog 3.5.1 on a DNN 5.0.1 without problem but when i click "create My blog" shows the following error:

Error: Create new Blog is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format. ---> System.formatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberformatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberformatInfo info) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.EditBlog.BindDateformats() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.EditBlog.BindDateOptions(Int32 TimeZone, String Culture, String Dateformat) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.EditBlog.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

 

i guess i have a database problem but cant find what ! i thanx some help

Hi Ariel,

my understanding is that the error is not in your database, but rather in the module code, that failed parsing a date. Could you please post the exact settings you are using for your newly added blog? It would also be very useful to post the exception that should have been added into the Event Log.

I had installed the spanish language package but unistall it and try again with not changes. i try disable the  Browser Language Detection option and same result. the Blog module have not extra configuration.
