Eureka,

I have Ventrian Friendly URLs, but I did not know that the postback problems was linked to the url rewriter. I am quite surprise of what you say. Are you sure ???

Hi DV

No I am not sure that it is connected. However, it seems to have some relevance with my site.

But I am now having postback problems again in IE6 and FF in 1 site. The site has come to a halt.

Plus I am also now having a problem displaying friendly URL's. Perhaps because the problem site has many pages and perhaps it is struggling. I think it is somehow inter-related but  it is just a guess, I don't know for sure.

I am about to install the full version of Snapsis.Pageblaster, I hope that this will solve the above.

I will let you know if it works.

Regards

Lynn

Not sure whether this is fully related to the web_postback issue but I have created a module with hyperlinks, sometimes they seem to work fine at othertimes a javascript error is thrown saying object expected, I have tried the previous steps by exculding the axd files. I am using DNN 4.4.0. Could anyone shed some light on this issue, or point me in the right direction? Thanks

I did a fix to the compression module for 4.4.1 that fixes this issue.  See DNNP-5183 in Gemini to see this fix.

The core team have replied and said they have changed 4.5 to only compress test/html mine types would should also fix the problem, as you shouldn't need add the exclusion for webresource.axd. (Check when 4.5 is released)
