hi!

i've got this problem while installing DNN 4.5.3:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Source Error:

An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

Stack Trace: 

[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.]
   DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule.RewriteUrl(HttpApplication app) +369
   DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule.OnBeginRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) +699
   System.Web.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() +92
   System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +64

 

but it aqppears at the IIS administrator when i make right click on the site and i choose the Examinate option... when i write http://localhost/DotNetNuke  i get a 404 error... i dont know what to do,  i'will appreciate any help

Why is this post pinned? 

It's purpose was to give people notice about the new installer wizard but that purpose has long since passed.

I dont see the documentation download for DNN 4.5, while I do see a specific documentation download for previous versions. Can you point me to it?
