I am having problems logging into my site as host or admin just after the build of the site.  I used the 4.4.1 starter kit through Visual Studio.  I have cleared the site and re-built but have the same issue.

I am able to login if I start the site from inside IIS by right-clicking on the virtual directory and selecting Browse. 

When "running" from Visual Studio I attempt to login and get an exception in the Output window...

A first chance exception of type 'System.Threading.ThreadAbortException' occurred in mscorlib.dll
An exception of type 'System.Threading.ThreadAbortException' occurred in mscorlib.dll but was not handled in user code

How can I debug this?

Ok, I downloaded and setup the source.  I have traced this all the way into the Signin.ascx.vb UserAuthorized Sub.  This sub executes to the last night where it calls Response.Redirect(RedirectURL, True).  The RedirectURL is http://localhost/dotnetnuke_2/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx.  The browser just hangs there, trying to redirect to the new URL.  By the database it looks to be the "Home" tabid.

Any ideas?

As before I can login if I browse the folder from in Virtual Directory in IIS.
