Another thing you could try is to create a function to indicate if the user is logged in.  E.g.

 

Public Function UserLoggedIn() As Boolean

 

 

 

Dim objUser As DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserInfo = UserController.GetCurrentUserInfoReturn Not (objUser.Username Is Nothing)End Function

You can then setup the hyperlink as follows:

 

 

If UserLoggedIn() Then

hypAttachedFile.NavigateUrl = Something.....

hypAttachedFile.Visible =

True

 

Else

hypAttachedFile.NavigateUrl = NavigateURL(PortalSettings.LoginTabId)

hypAttachedFile.Visible =

 

End If

 

True

or you could hack the link click httphandler to direct to the login page - something I think needs to be put in - or some sort of setting for the link click handler to direct where the posrtal wants it to
