I will really apprecaite if someone can elaborate (or point me to right resource):

#1 How DNN can be configure to get picked by leading search engines e.g. Google/Yahoo/MSN etc?

#2 What can be done to improve search ranking?

Many thanks in advance,
-s

You can add a sitemap to google webmaster tools, that seems to help a lot.  If you are using 4.5 you can simply point to sitemap.aspx or if you are using a previous version I would recommend using the BiteTheBullet sitemap module as it works very nicely!

As for improving ranking there are a number of things you can do, improve the number of outside links, optimize the keywords and content etc.

Thanks! Mitchel for this valuable information. Definitely I will explore BiteTheBullet sitemap module.

Is there any novice to advance documentation for DNN to setup for search engines?
