I'm having the same problem as poder.

This really blows. I can't edit as host or admin!

I have the same issue.

This all started when I made one module in the bottom pane of the home page. It was an 'uptime statistics' image and link from hosttracker.com. It was an html module with just the code given by hosttracker. I pasted the code:

<code>

<a href='http://host-tracker.com/' onMouseOver='this.href="http://host-tracker.com/uptime-statistics/311653-311651/lvuc/";'><img
width=88 height=31 border=0 alt='website monitoring'
src="http://ext.host-tracker.com/uptime-img/?s=31&amp;t=311653-311651&amp;m=00.09&amp;p=Total&amp;src=lvuc"></a><noscript><a href='http://host-tracker.com/' >free website monitoring service</a></noscript>

</code>

Then I edited it and (mistakenly) removed the last /noscript tag.

Then the problem appeared that I cannot edit modules on pages. The 'settings' link appears at the bottom of every module but this one. But none of them work. I don't have the menu in the title of the module, either for the title or the dropdown menu. This is on every page of the site.

I also don't have the site navigation menu on the home page.

I tried the suggestion of making a new admin account and logging in as that, but this was no help.

New to DNN. Please help?

Also,

Could this issue be related to this post?

?

Well, this hasn't fixed it for me.

On the home page, I can see the edit text link (on all but one module) but the link doesn't work. Moreover, the site navigation is gone from the home page.

Hello?

Does anyone else have this problem (besides the 2 that posted above)?

Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

I'm only using core modules and this is a new (2 weeks?) DNN installation, just upgraded from 4.4.1 to 4.5.0 to 4.5.1. Made some pages and then had this problem.

Any ideas?
