Hello
regarding the new sub category feature in the new repository:
there is a way to put category in a DDL and the sub in other DDL?
or at least reflect the sub category on the repository dashboard?
thanks

make sure you're changing the right .xml file for the template you're using.

Templates are stored in two possible locations. By default, templates are located in /DesktopModules/Repository/Templates. So, if you're using the 'default' template, you would edit the '/DesktopModules/Repository/Templates/default/form.xml file.  You can override templates by placing copies in /Portals/#/RepositoryTemplates. So make sure you don't have a '/Portals/#/RepositoryTemplates/default folder. If you do, then you'll edit the form.xml file there instead. Here's a clue, on the Module Settings page for your Repository module, look at the skins dropdown list. If the template name is followed by an asterisk (*) then that template is being loaded from the 'Portals' folder and not the 'DesktopModules' folder.

Once you're sure you're editing the proper form.cml file, make sure the [Categories] tag looks exactly like the one in the above mentioned blog. Copy and Paste from the blog to your form.xml file to be sure. This change will display a tree control on the 'UPLOAD" and 'EDIT" forms.
