I had this and I believe it was due to a problem with trying to add a Text/HTML module with some HTML that DotNetNuke didn't like.  After correcting the HTML it came up with these Error:'WebForm_PostBackOptions' is undefined messages.  I logged in as host, cleared the cache, waited for about 10 min and it started working again.  I'm not sure if this is a "fix" but it worked in my case.

Does anyone yet have a resolution for this VERY serious problem??    There is no HTTP compression involved in my case; neither the IIS6 built-in variety or a third party product like blowery.

HELP!!!!  One cannot click on the UPDATE links to change anything.   Clicking on many many items in DNN DOES NOT WORK.    Some of the clicks are just do_postbacks, which are OK.

To clear the cache, login as host and go to Host Settings > Advanced Settings > Other Settings > Performance Setting > Clear Cache.  I set my host for no caching at the moment to see what happens.  It also may have to do with Scheduler Mode set to request.  I have changed this to timer to see what happens.  I'll give an update on my findings.

I just disabled the scheduler and turned it to No Caching.  The problem went away!

Hmmm.
