The fact that this problem is still not #@$@@#$ fixed is ridiculous and points to sheer incompetence or a lack of professional integrity by the DNN Core Engineering team.

Pissed off? Ya damn skippy!

We're dead in the water without resolution!

Fix the problem!

Hi Darryll,

It is quite offending to read your frustration. Please try to take care of your language...people are more willing to help you, if you simply ask what you are doing wrong and how others can assist you instead of what others are doing wrong.

Hope this advice will help you too.

Jelle

I know this is an old thread, but I was running into the same problem on a fresh install of 4.8.2. I'm running IIS6 on Win2k3 Server. ASP.NET 2.0 and 3.0 are installed. I don't have an ASP.NET tab in my site properties, as it might appear on IIS5 (dunno, don't run websites on IIS5). Anyway, I had initially gone into the website properties... Home Directory tab... Configuration button... and under the Application Extensions section gone and set the right 2.0 isapi file for .aspx files. However, I never did it for .axd files. I made that modification, and the update links started working like a charm.
