hi
name="SiteSqlServer"
connectionString="Server=Ali110;Database=dotnetnuke;uid=*****;pwd=*****;"
providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
-->

<appsettings></appsettings>

<!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005 Express - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules -->

<add value="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|Database.mdf;" key="SiteSqlServer"></add>

<!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005 - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules

I tryed with server=localhost and . and (local) but it didnt fixed

pesarak,

the first one is commented, therefore the second one "\.SQLExpress..." is used and your changed did not have any effect.
