I haven't had a chance to check it out yet but if that's the case then I'll see if I can get a copy of Server 2008 to test with.

I just looked at a VPC of server 2008. I haven't tested this but...

In IIS browse to WindowsSignin.aspx. Right click on it and switch to Features View. Make sure WindowsSignin.aspx is listed at the top of the window. Scroll down ti the IIS section and double click on Authentication. Select Anonymous Authentication and click Disable in the top right corner. Select Windows Authentication and click Enable in the top right corner.

That should be it. If it doesn't work let me know and I'll try doing a DNN install on it over the weekend.

Hi!

Have also got this error on a DNN 04.07.00 portal using Windows Server 2003 and IIS 6.0.
I use Windows Authentication, and that works fine for portal login.
But some times when I try to go to the portal it show's this message in the Browser:

"Error while processing Windows Authentication
Check your IIS settings. DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx should NOT allow anonymous access."

When I hit refresh F5 The portal load's fine.

I have checked this specific file in IIS and "enable anonymous access" checkbox is not checked, and Integrated Windows Authentication is checked.

Sombody have a clue what's going on here?

Do you have any caching turned on? Just taking a guess at this point.

Hi!

Yes I think it have something todo with caching. But if this is the case, is it caching in the browser, iis, dnn portal  or somewhere else?

I get the same error from different pc`s. And it seems it occure after 20/30 minutes when idle or have closed the browser.
Also it seems that different url's to the portal generate same error.
If I type "www.myportal.com" first time it errors, next time it load right. But if I then type
"myportal.com" the first time it errors also, and next time it load right. But don't know why this happens?
