Sorry...you right...I have sit by and seen everyone talk about many different providers and when you look in to it, I can believe what many are offering for the price.  Just wow...I will not toot my own horn any more...although it’s true..

Now I see there are others on here that are pulling their own horn, but I’ll man up and play it straight..

I was hearing that a lot of people were switching to ihostasp.net for dnn hosting. They specialize in DNN hosting. I've only been with them 2 days, so I can't give an accurate opinion of their service, but so far I am happy.

BTW, I too switched from webhost4life because of the issues on their new platform. My support ticket with WH4L has been open for 10 days with no resolution and my personal website is down and my business site is up but is not editable. 10 days with two sites dead in the water. Yep, it is so nice to leave them. It's a shame, been with them for 8yrs or so, they had such good service and then the new company that took them over just flushed that good reputation down the toilet. Anyone manage to get a refund from them for the remainder of the hosting term paid for? I bet not.

Let's hope ihostasp.net is as good as they say they are... of course, anything at this point is better than wh4l.

An update on our PowerDNN experience. While we are very glad to be off the WH4L catastrophe and the people at PowerDNN have good DNN expertise, it is more expensive without some hosting basics. Support will only take some issues so far before dumping it back on you. They are not very creative with their problem solving.

For example, we are paying 4x more a month than before and one client has all their email addresses being slammed with tons of SPAM a day, which started when we transferred to PowerDNN. There are no options to turn on or purchase a SPAM pounder or filter, and support's solution is to transfer all the email addresses to Google at $20 per email per year. To me that's an odd solution and causing a greater expense for something that is basic at other hosting services.
