Since you posted to a moderated forum, a forum administrator must approve your post before it will become visible. Please be patient, this may take anywhere from a few minutes to many hours. Note that you will receive an email when your post is approved

You guys get this, too?  I'll lay 10-to-1 that you don't get an email. :)

Interestingly, when I logged in to post it, after I hit reply for the first 4-5 times, the forums returned this:

Been there, done that.  I had to create a new account to bring it to their attention, as many of us emailed the webmaster account over the course of the 3 weeks, but never got a response.

You can reply fine, but just not create new threads, right?  ...were a bunch of us like that.

Ever since they migrated to these "new" forums, I, too, have had serious problems with the DNN site...from no notifications to not being able to post to slooooooow response time to errors and the inability to search, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc...

I used to login everyday and just read the latest 2-3 pages of posts to continue to build my knowledge base of the platform, but with the current state of affairs, I no longer troll the forums, save tonight to see if things have improved. During my weeks on not being able to post to the forums, II was, however, able to download and install another platform in less time than it took to pull up the forums the other day, though...3 minutes to include installing WAMP. Wow.

And so the question comes full circle for Terp ;-)

You'd think that, for the sake of the community, DNN would want to use a robust, bombproof forum package so that the community could thrive... Dogfood is one thing, but there's nothing wrong with feeding 'em real meat, especially when that is to which their sophisticated palate's accustomed.
