I created a site for a NPO in town, they guy that will be running the site is computer literate, but looks like someone that might make a mistake along the way, and break something, so I am weary of giving him full admin rights, and besides if we give him full admin rights, he can ad mod's which I don't want.  The problem is though, he needs to be able to add users to a specific group after they register.

Is there any way to give the user right to add users to a security role without giving him admin rights.

Thanx

if you give him admin permission, but not host, you can limit his installation options. Currently there is no option for a "limited admin" role.

We trired that but it is still to much for him.  Is there a plan to introduce something like this?

My company is also looking for a way to restrict administrative priveleges for deployed systems. I will vote for this feature in the product roadmap...is there any other suggestions you could offer up?

Any insight you could provide would be really helpful!
