Can any one tell me about how can we notify through email to our friends for a particular event.
I can see the notification settings but I am unable to send emails to any one whose Email address is mentioned in the notificationsettings .Neither do I get any mail of reminder to the admin or the host about reminding the admin before 15 min.
Can any one faced the same problem and found the solution for this.

The module is in the dogfooding stage as I post this.  We have been extensively tested the fixes and features over the last two months....We believe we have fixed the notifications, paid enrollment, and other features that were broken.  Event though the main concern was a rock-solid event module, we managed to sneak in a few new features including a very flexible Scheduling Control by Jos Branders, better support for per-instance Themes, Category Filtering and several other enhancements.

Is there a step by setp guide available on how to setup notifications for events. I am primarily interested in sending out a reminder e-mail to all registered users prior to an event (eg. 1 day before).

1) Which Schedule needs to be enabled in Host/Schedule ? DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.EventNotification ? If so what other settings need to be entered or changed (eg, Object Dependencies , Run On Server).

2) Which settings need to be changed in the Events module in order for the e-mails to be sent ?

I am running DNN 04.05.00 and Events 03.03.07.

Is there documentation available anywhere or can someone please help me.
