Recently I installed the new DOTNETNUKE version and I found there is a NAV option.

Could anybody tell me what's NAV option in the new DNN4.8? Is it better than SOLPARTMENU? How can we configue it?

It would be great if anyone can answer me these questions.

Thanks!

Solpart was replaced in 4.4 I think for the main menu. If its better or not Im not sure. The documentation for Solpart is better:)

You will find some leads by reading the The DotNetNuke navigation Webcontrol pdf included in the documentation.

However does not all parameters work as at least I espect It should. For some reason this part of DNN is not tested and corrected as other parts of the core.

It's lighter and will be better eventually, but it does have a much-reduced feature-set. Get the first file on the 'Other project files' list on this page:
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/Forge/CoreWebControls/Downloads/tabid/874/Default.aspx

There's a table in there showing what matches and what doesn't. You can still use either menu of course.

Great thanks for all the help

Just one more question, does the NAV run faster than SOLPARTMENU? If it does not, since it has less feature than SOLPARTMENU, why would DotNetNuke release this new token?
