Update... although it has fixed the biog problem it now does not work for me in thr text/html module... in fact it renders that module inoperative as it comes up with an error...

Line 50... char14...Error 'FCKEditorAPI' is undefined... anybody have any ideas?

Seems to be a cache problem. As you know, FCKeditor is made of javascript code.

Try a simple refresh. If not, clear your browser cache and try again

Sorry, cannot reproduce it. Are you using the default skin?..or a custom one?

I am getting

Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Fck\fckCSS.aspx(1): error BC30456: 'InitializeCulture' is not a member of 'ASP.providers_htmleditorproviders_fck_fckcss_aspx'.
 

This error is generated from the Windows event log after trying to edit content from Text/HTML module?  Any ideas on how to address the issue?  I'm using DNN 4.8.0 in a developing environment using default skin.
