I guess I'm coming from the viewpoint of a person who has spent hundreds of hours documenting DotNetNuke for free over the years.

And I, at least, owe you a thank you.

Regarding NAV its a scandal its not documented in my opinion.

C'mon ppl...  incompetent information architecture of this website aside, surely I'm not the only one who knows that the nav docs exist:

C'mon Rob the document regarding NAV is outdated and have never been accurate for a real release.

It was written back in 2005 as a PRE release information and have never been updated. The documentation was very good to show the very nice architecture.

Changes have been made since 2005 and you have too read the code to know how it works. I am sure a lot of people like you think its accurate but it is not.

So I still think its a scandal that its not documented.

To bee correct I should say NAV and DNNMenudataprovider.

Well it's the only doc I've ever used and as you hadn't mentioned it anywhere in the thread I naturally assumed you hadn't seen it. If there are things that need updating I suggest bringing it up in the "ClientAPI Component" forum where Jon hangs out and discusses his gadgets.

I'm unaware that it anything about it has changed since then, but I'm keen to know if you find anything new.

Jon know the issues thats not the problem. Maybee he doesent see it as a problem I dont know.

Maybee its a communication problem between core members or something other. I think the work done by Jon should bee comunicated to the users in a way that it could bee used for all that need the information. We can now look at new nice features in videos made by Jon and I hope we can get proper information when it will bee released. I think its too late to update the old documentation now. So you should read my post here as:

Core team ...make it good next time!

And if I had read Chatals post right im sure there will bee improvements
